He also holds a Post Graduate Diploma in Family Medicine from the National Post Graduate Medical College of Nigeria as well as a Masters degree in Business Administration and Masters of Science in Healthcare Management from the University of Port Harcourt Business School.

He received several levels of training from the Saint Gregory’s Ultrasound Institute in Ibadan, Nigeria that accorded him the Makarso Accreditation in Ultrasonography.

Dr. Odo is a private investor in hospital and allied Healthcare Services. He owns and operates Meridian Hospitals Limited as its Group Medical Director. He also owns and operates Pyramids Diagnostic Services Limited as its Chairman/CEO. He is the Chairman/CEO Pyramid Integrated Services Limited. Dr Odo is the International President of Pilgrims Africa Health Foundation, a Nongovernmental Organization committed to health support campaigns in Nigeria through free medical missions, human capital development and social advocacy.

He is a professional with an eye for excellence and has an unwavering commitment to skill and business development as well as leadership. He believes in the future of the Nigerian Health System and is passionate about the drive for Universal Health Coverage as the vehicle for reversing the healthcare indices of Nigeria. Dr. Odo is the National President of the Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN). This is the umbrella body of Nigerian doctors in private practice. It is the largest organization of doctors in Nigeria as an affiliate of the Nigerian Medical Association (NMA), and Full Member of the World Organization of Family Doctors. He holds tens of awards including the award of World Ambassador for Peace, United Nations POLAC; Doctor of Science Honoris Causa, Commonwealth University; The African Leadership Excellence Award in Medicine, London, 2018; Nigerian Medical Association, Rivers State Roll of Honours Award; Distinguished Medical Practitioner (DMP), AGPMPN; The Nelson Mandela Life Achievers Merit Award; Ahmadu Bello Platinum Leadership Award; International Project Excellence Award by the American Project Management Professionals; Icon of Medical Renaissance by ECOWAS Youth Council, etc.

Dr. Odo is a family man. He is married to Mrs. Doris Odo, a management consultant with whom he has four children. Dr Odo is a mentor of men, a community leader and an astute entrepreneur.

A certified Quality Patient Safety and QMS ISO 9001:2015 Lead Auditor. She is currently the quality assurance manager at MERIDIAN HOSPITAL Port Harcourt-a multi -specialist hospital. She is a member of the society for quality healthcare in Nigeria (SQHN). She previously has worked in a hospital as an innovation manager located in Lagos state and other industries. She has a cumulative experience of over 8 years in the health sector.

She is a graduate of Human Anatomy, University of Calabar and a safety professional with the Institute of safety professionals Nigeria (ISPON).

She has attended various professional training that cut across hospital administration, general HSE and HSE supervision, quality management system, quality and patient safety (CIQPS) amongst others. She has over eight years working experience in the health industry and four years hands-on experience in the production, NGO and teaching industries. Some of her experiences include:

  • Working with internal and external parties to organize the various components needed to initiate, run and conclude major projects.

These include Nursing, midwifery, public health, post graduate diplomas (PGD) in hospital and Health services Administration, HIV Education/counselling and management, and master’s degree in public Health (MPH) all acquired in various institutions in Nigeria namely, Mater Misericordae Hospital Afikpo, Rivers State college of Health and science, Imo State university and National Open University of Nigeria respectively between 1987 to 2008. She has also been attending related seminars and workshops to improve her career performance one of which is on Basic Vaccinology in Accra Ghana.

Her career paths have been challenging yet interesting, consistent and fulfilling.

Her 30 years working experience cut across industries and hospitals some of which are direct patient care and others Administrative roles.

Some of the organisations she has worked for include: Harley clinics and maternity, Belhope plastics industry, Meridian Hospitals, First Rivers Hospital, and Save a Life Mission hospitals then back to Meridian hospitals all in Port Harcourt.
She has worked in various capacities both as a nurse/ midwife, industrial/ public health officer, Hospital Administrator and counsellor.

Presently she is the coordinator/ counsellor of De Novo Fertility Unit, Meridian Hospital Port Harcourt.

He joined the Meridian Team in 2011 as the Personal Assistant to the Medical Director of Meridian Hospitals. Owing to his hard work, selfless service, dedication and humility which are his core attributes, he was promoted within 12 months of resumption to the position of Secretary/Executive Assistant to the Group Medical Director/CEO of the hospital. He began his administrative career in 2008 as the pioneer Personal Secretary/Administrative Assistant to an erudite Professor of Physiology in the College of Medical Sciences, University of Calabar, Calabar.

Mr. Ekpo pioneered the establishment of a thriving health maintenance organization – Century Medicaid Services Limited as the Secretary to the Chairman/CEO. He is Secretary to the Chairman/CEO, Pyramids Integrated Services Limited; Secretary to the Chairman/CEO, Pyramid Diagnostic Services Limited – an allied medical diagnostic support outfit. He is also Secretary to the International President, Pilgrims Africa Health Foundation (an NGO) as well as Personal Secretary to the National President, Association of General and Private Medical Practitioners of Nigeria (AGPMPN) – the most populous association of Nigerian private doctors.

He is a product of the prestigious University of Calabar, Calabar where he graduated in 2006/2007 set with Bachelors of Science (Honours) from the renowned Institute of Oceanography. He has attended several conferences, seminars and professional development trainings on customer service, leadership, management principles and operations both in the country and abroad including Department of Global Health E-Learning Program of the University of Washington where he was awarded certificates in Clinical Management of HIV and Leadership and Management in Health in June and December 2018 respectively. Anna’s leadership career has progressed in parallel with her pharmaceutical oversight functions over the last 10 years.
In June 2014, Anna joined Meridian Hospitals Limited in Port-Harcourt, Rivers State where she currently functions as the Head of Pharmacy Division. She supervises over 14 other certificated pharmacists including Pharmacy Technicians.
Anna Zaccheus has received numerous commendations for hard-work in the course of her career life.
She has contributed immensely in her field of endeavour, and has groomed several pharmacy technicians and Industrial Trainees posted to the Hospital.

The scope of her experience includes documentation of patients’ data strengthening of M&E systems, Prevention of Mother to Child Transmission of HIV/AIDS, Care and treatment of pediatric and adult HIV supported site on the Strengthening Integrated Delivery of HIV/AIDS Services (SIDHAS), USAID funded project as an Assistant Technical Officer – M&E, where She coordinated the project monitoring and evaluation system, in addition to supervision of other medical record staff.
